Leboom saw something when he was just a wee pup that left a deep void of existential despair behind his ruby peepers for the rest of his days (he doesn't talk about it). He is helpful in a crisis because of his unaffected nature, emotion is not something he is blessed with very often. Leboom has a dry, dark sense of humour that is frequently followed by a silence that haunts its victims.
